Track the latest updates and improvements to Dunk Walrus
Added more real-time data syncing. Games will now be updated roughly once every hour, even for same-day games.
Improved player data handling, so certain players (like Jimmy Butler) with different names on different platforms still have links to (and data from) each platform.
You can now import roster data from your fantasy leagues (in "My Leagues") into the draft tool.
Added the ability to track your fantasy league(s) in the app (this will be the foundation of other in-season tools). Also added automatic roster syncing for ESPN fantasy leagues.
The player details section in the right sidebar now has links to NBA.com, Yahoo, ESPN, and BBall Ref. Also added support for player position data for Yahoo and ESPN.
Started laying more groundwork (mostly behind the scenes) for some new in-season tools. Hopefully more updates soon.
Game data is still slightly delayed, a number of updates are in still in progress to improve that flow. Thanks for your patience.
I need to make some changes to my data pipeline, so game data will be slightly delayed for now. Thanks for bearing with me, I'll have that update in as soon as I can.
Added support for the 2025-26 NBA Season. These stats will be updated daily. New in-season tools are in-progress and coming soon.
Added some announcements to the Home Page, and removed some old stuff.
The player projections editor now has an explicit "Save" button instead of auto-saving. I think this will make it easier to update specific player projections. The projection "Settings" tab still auto-saves.
Increased the range for stat weights in the left sidebar from "-10 to 10" to "-100 to 100" based on feedback that some points leagues needed weights higher than 10.
Updated the default names for teams to make it easier to read. For example, the second team (after your team) used to default to the name "Other Team 1", now it is just called "Team 2".
Fixed an issue where projected players with zero games were not showing up in the players list.
Added the ability to create simple, custom projections that automatically feed into your draft tool. You can make your own, or use someone else's. This was a big one, hopefully you like it!
Increased the max draft budget to $5000, cleaned up the "Data From" dropdown, and started laying the groundwork for custom stat projections.
Added support for team comparisons (and improved team analysis for points leagues to be at par with category leagues)
Added the ability to assign players to specific opposing teams. More team-related analysis coming soon.
Updated the player sidebar in the draft tool to show more useful information for points leagues (when the points league option is selected).
Fixed a small calculation bug in points leagues. Also added several quality-of-life improvements specifically for points leagues (more are on the way!).
Added a "Rank" column with overall rank and a "YRS" column showing how many years a player has been active.
Made sorting and filtering in the data table much simpler. Finding players in the table should be super easy now.
Added this change log!
Added 3 new stat categories: "Double Doubles", "Triple Doubles", and "3 Point %".
Released the first version of the draft tool!
